Event 21 - Deadline
How It Works
Downtimes for Event 21 will be open until 10th May 2019.
Those who played Event 21 will gain 4 points and a perk. If your character did not survive the event, unfortunately your new character does not get a downtime action, but you still get 2 scav points and one perk for your new character, for attending the event.
Downtimes represent the actions of your character between events. Use these steps to form the e-mail of your downtime.
STEP ONE: DOWNTIME ACTION
Choose between one of the following actions.
SCAVENGE: (Skill requirement: Scavenger) Gain 4 scav points to spend on supplies ONLY.
TRAIN: Gain 4 scav points to spend on skills ONLY.
FORAGE: (Skill requirement: Forager) Heal 4 points of Maluntrition (MAL), divided between as many as 4 characters.
TRADE: Buy items with caps or sell items currently in your or your group’s possession. See below for the trading prices for this event.
HEAL: (Skill requirement: Doctor) Heal a total of 6 RADs or INF across a maximum of 6 people. Diagnose characters Vital Signs (MAL, RADs, INF).
REPAIR: (Skill requirement: Engineer): Repair 3 points of condition across a maximum of 3 parts.
MAINTAIN BASE: Make an action contributing to your group's base of operations, so that group perks in play can continue to be effective. (Over the course of the year, one of these actions needs to be done for each Group Perk that is active from your Group Perks list.) This is also the action to take for ALL members of a group involved in starting a new base.
SPECIAL: This action is for anything out of the ordinary that you want to make count in the Wasteland. It could be making contact with a particular individual, finding out specific information or doing something not contained in the actions above.
STEP 2: SPEND SCAV POINTS
Choose skills or supplies from the lists in the rulebook up to the value of the points you have from your action and any survival scav points. Surviving the event gives you 4 scav points, while the SCAVENGE action gains you 4 scav points for supplies only and the TRAIN action gains you 4 scav points for skills only.
If you wish to trade with others out in the Wastes you can do so, by spending the caps you or your group have. Below is the trading list and the caps value of the items available. Bear in mind that Traders out in the Wastes are intelligent, they may not want to buy all of the items you have - if you are selling multiples of anything they may only want some of those items... or they may want to haggle with you, just as you may want to try to haggle with them.

STEP 3: CHOOSE A PERK
Choose one perk from the Perks of the Apocalypse chapter of the rulebook.
Scav points can be saved but never transferred. A Wastelander’s scav points are their own.
If your character did not survive the event, unfortunately your new character does not get a downtime action, but you still get 2 scav points and one perk for your new character, for attending the event.
